CONTEST RULES
- Deer must be harvested legally in Kentucky. Please visit fw.ky.gov for all hunting regulations.
- All laws and regulations must be followed.
- Scores are based on gross, no deductions (keeps it simple for scoring – he grows it, we score it).
- KYGUNCO® has the right to publish your photo in advertising, social media, etc.
- All deer must be scored at the KYGUNCO® Bardstown or Louisville stores.
- Deer must be brought in for scoring as soon as possible after harvesting. We prefer the antlers be attached to the carcass. We realize that sometimes you must process the deer immediately to prevent spoilage, if this is the case, antlers must be attached to an intact skull and we ask for a field harvest photo.
- KYGUNCO® Big Buck Contest 2024 starts September 7th, 2024, and ends on the last day of KY deer season January 20, 2025.
- The hunter must choose which category (Largest Typical, Largest Non-Typical, Largest Bow, Largest Crossbow, Largest Womens, Largest Youth) they want to enter their deer.
- All bucks entered are automatically part of the random drawing Grand Prize Honda Rancher Giveaway. Must be 16 or older to win. The winner will be randomly drawn after the close of KY deer season. The winner of the Honda Rancher has 30 days to claim the prize at KYGUNCO Bardstown. If the Honda Rancher is not claimed in 30 days the winner forfeits their winning.
